Eliminating Bad Thoughts
This is one of my favorite super simple and silly techniques for eliminating bad thoughts!
It was created by the co-creator of NLP, Richard Bandler, and taken from his book "Get the Life You Want."
Step 1: Be aware of what bad thoughts you are having and what things you're telling yourself that make you feel bad.
Step 2: When these thoughts are occurring, repeat the mantra, "Shut the fuck up, shut the fuck up, shut the fuck up!" again and again. (Seriously! Do it!)
Step 3: Any time these bad thoughts occur, use this mantra.
Step 4: Choose nicer and more encouraging thoughts and words to say to yourself in a loving and confident tone of voice. Say these as often as possible. Have fun showering yourself with compliments!
